David Pakchanyan is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the ARAR Civilizational Research Foundation. He is a physicist, social entrepreneur, and businessman.
David Pakhchanyan graduated from the Faculty of General and Applied Physics of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Concurrently, he underwent military training and holds the rank of reserve lieutenant. From 2008 to 2010, he studied at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, earning a Master’s degree in General and Strategic Management.
From 2016 to 2018, David Pakhchanyan served as Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia and Chairman of the Military-Industrial Committee. He is the founder of a number of commercial companies and numerous civic initiatives. In addition, David Pakhchanyan co-founded the Ayb Educational Foundation, Ayb School, and the Amrots National Development Foundation. He currently serves as a member of the Boards of Trustees of the Ayb Educational Foundation and the Amrots National Development Foundation.
