Manuk Hergnyan

Member of the Board of Trustees

Manuk Hergnyan is a co-founder and a member of the Board of Trustees of the ARAR Civilizational Research Foundation. He is an economist, social entrepreneur and venture capitalist.

He graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Yerevan State University, later earning a PhD in Economics from Moscow State University and a Master’s degree in Executive Management from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.

Manuk Hergnyan is the founder of EV Consulting, which subsequently became part of CIVITTA International. He is also a co-founder and managing partner of Granatus Ventures, Armenia’s first venture capital company.

Throughout his career, Manuk Hergnyan has held board positions in a range of private and public-sector organizations, including the Industrial Council of Armenia, the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), the Microsoft Innovation Center in Armenia, and Dilijan Central School. He is also a co-founder and board member of the Vem Educational and Cultural Foundation, the Amrots National Development Foundation, and the ZARK Educational Program Foundation.
