From February 17 to 21, members of the Board of Trustees of the “ARAR” Foundation—Artur Alaverdyan, Igor Zargaryan, Avetik Chalabyan—along with Executive Director Armen Khachikyan and several partners, participated in the “IDEX 2025” defense exhibition held in Abu Dhabi.

The foundation’s representatives closely examined the latest trends in armaments and military technology, as well as explored cutting-edge solutions in the defense industry. During the exhibition, they held numerous meetings with representatives of international defense companies to discuss the potential applications of new technologies.

Igor Zargaryan, a member of the Board of Trustees, stated: “IDEX 2025 was a unique opportunity to understand the development of modern weaponry and defense systems, which will allow us to reassess the prospects of Armenia’s military armament and defense industry.”

Artur Alaverdyan added: “Today, the development of the defense industry requires an innovative approach and the determination to keep pace with technological advancements. Armenia must establish a competitive ecosystem for defense technologies.”

Avetik Chalabyan emphasized: “We witnessed the advancement of state-of-the-art military technologies and had the opportunity to discuss collaboration prospects with leading companies. Armenia should not only be a consumer in the defense sector but also play an active role as a developer of technological solutions.”

Summarizing the visit, Armen Khachikyan, the Executive Director of the “ARAR” Foundation, highlighted the importance of analyzing global defense industry trends, assessing future armament prospects, and aligning Armenia’s military capabilities with modern technological developments.

The “ARAR” Foundation continues its efforts to contribute to the advancement of Armenia’s defense industry and comprehensive security system.
