Our Story<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The ARAR Civilizational Research Foundation was officially established in 2014. Its origins, however, date back to 2006, when a group of like-minded individuals launched a discussion platform focused on Armenia-centered issues. The platform primarily explored topics such as Armenian identity in the modern era, the geopolitical and socio-economic developments surrounding Armenia, and the prospects for cultural transformation. Over time, this platform gave rise to a number of initiatives and organizations, including the ARAR Foundation.<\/p>

By implementing a number of significant projects that contributed to strengthening the security architecture of Armenia and Artsakh, the ARAR Foundation established relationships of mutual trust and long-term cooperation with its partners.<\/p>

Until 2023, the Foundation\u2019s projects focused on promoting military education, supporting mobilization initiatives in Armenia\u2019s border villages, and improving the quality of medical services within the Armed Forces. During both the Four-Day War of 2016 and the 44-Day War of 2020, the ARAR Foundation continued to dedicate its resources and expertise to supporting the country\u2019s security.<\/p>

Following the loss of Artsakh in 2023, the Foundation refocused its activities on professional research, placing particular emphasis on public opinion studies.<\/p>

Recognizing the importance of preserving the historical memory of Artsakh and prioritizing the professional study and analysis of public attitudes and opinion trends, the ARAR Foundation has been conducting quarterly sociological surveys for more than two years, alongside sector-specific and specialized research projects.
Alongside its research activities, the Foundation cooperates with several military training organizations in Armenia and is also involved in research and projects related to Armenia\u2019s defense industry.<\/p>

Beginning in 2024, the ARAR Foundation launched an in-depth research program on comprehensive security. This work culminated in the publication, in 2025, of the book Comprehensive Security: Armenia\u2019s Alternative in a Changing World, co-authored by researchers Eduard Abrahamyan and Gevorg Melikyan.<\/p>

The ARAR Foundation continues to conduct research on the essential dimensions of comprehensive security while promoting broader public understanding of the concept.
As part of these efforts, the Foundation launched the ARAR Talks series to broaden public dialogue on comprehensive security. Bringing together leading experts from various fields, ARAR Talks seeks to foster a deeper understanding that building a secure and resilient homeland depends on the contribution of every individual.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
